At H2O Ranch we are raising and creating an excellent selection of Braunvieh heifers. We will feature a few photos of our show heifers here and will soon have new pictures in the breeding age and yearlings sections.
We also have photos in our Sale Ring of Heifers

The Show String - Rita our Spring Heifer (bottom left photo) out of Sure Enough and Peggy Sue (top left photo) our yearling heifer out of Laredo was shown in the Ft. Worth, San Antonio and Houston Livestock Shows. Peggy Sue is truly a daddy's girl. She has the frame and structure of Laredo with performance to boot, having a 365 day weight of almost 950 lbs. Rita's performance and conformation are outstanding.
Here are some interesting facts about Braunvieh heifers...
*Braunvieh cows generally weigh 1,100 to 1,500 pounds.
*Braunvieh and Braunvieh-cross females are sexually mature at a young age.
*They are excellent mother cows, plus they have the ability to rebreed and calve on a regular basis. They also milk sufficiently to produce heavy calves at weaning.
*Braunvieh females are known for their staying ability and remain productive well into their teens, many as long as 20 years of age or more.
